Matt Kowal joined Oregon Pacific Bank in July 2022 as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Leader at the Roseburg Branch. With 25 years of banking experience, Matt values OPB’s community focus and is passionate about helping local businesses succeed.

In addition to his professional role, Matt is deeply involved in his community. He currently serves as Board Chair of the Mercy Foundation, supporting children’s outreach and healthcare initiatives. He also serves on the boards of the Roseburg High School Foundation, providing scholarships and classroom resources, and the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership, promoting regional economic growth.

Matt is honored to join the Board of Directors for AVIVA, where he looks forward to contributing his expertise and leadership to further its mission and impact.

A devoted family man, Matt and his wife have adopted and raised three children and enjoy hiking, river outings, and golf. He remains committed to building strong community connections and supporting the success of his clients and neighbors.
