Oregon Pacific Bank Announces Leadership Succession Plan

Ron Green to retire later in 2026; Amber White appointed President and joins OPB & OPB Bancorp Boards

Florence, Oregon—January 29, 2026—Oregon Pacific Bancorp (ORPB), the holding company for Oregon Pacific Bank, today announced that President & CEO Ron Green intends to retire in 2026. As part of the Board-approved CEO succession plan, Amber J. White, currently Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, has been named successor and will assume the role of President & CEO of Oregon Pacific Bank upon Ron’s retirement.

Amber’s leadership extends well beyond her financial responsibilities. In addition to her role as CFO, she has been deeply engaged in operational oversight, organization-wide process improvements, long-range strategic planning, and personnel-related initiatives—experience that has contributed meaningfully to OPB’s organizational and cultural progress.

Effective January 29, 2026, Amber White will be promoted to President of Oregon Pacific Bank and appointed to the Boards of Directors for both Oregon Pacific Bank and Oregon Pacific Bancorp. As part of this transition, the Bank has begun the process of hiring a new Chief Financial Officer.

Ron Green will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Oregon Pacific Bank and President & CEO of Oregon Pacific Bancorp, as well as a Director on both boards, until his retirement later this year.

Leadership Reflections

Ron joined the Bank in 2007 as Chief Credit Officer and was promoted to President & CEO in 2013.

“I am very proud of the Bank’s accomplishments over the past 19 years and my 13 years as President & CEO,” said Ron Green. “We emerged from the Great Recession of 2009 and grew the Bank’s assets nearly fivefold from 2013 to today. Over that time, our focus has remained constant—creating meaningful value for our shareholders, employees, customers, and communities.

“Our greatest success over the past decade has been the recruitment of exceptional banking leaders, including Amber White. I will forever be grateful for how our employees transformed the culture of the Bank over the last two decades. Amber has been a pivotal leader at the Bank and is the right person with the vision to lead the Bank forward. This is a great opportunity for Amber, but an even greater opportunity for our stakeholders.”

Introducing Amber White

Throughout her tenure with OPB, Amber has taken on responsibilities that extend far beyond the traditional scope of a CFO. She has held a key leadership role in guiding bank operations, supporting organizational-wide process improvements and operational alignment. She has also worked closely with the Bank’s Human Resources team on personnel strategy, talent development, and organizational culture. This breadth of cross-functional experience gives her a deep, organization-wide perspective that informs her leadership today.

“I am honored to join the board and serve as president,” says Amber White. “Community banks remain essential—our place is right here, supporting the businesses and nonprofits that power the local economy. Since 1979, Oregon Pacific Bank has stood by our communities with relationship driven banking and local decision making, and we plan to continue doing exactly that. We’re seeing more clients choose a community bank because they value responsiveness, tailored solutions, and a team that knows their market. I look forward to building on that momentum with our talented colleagues and partners, and to delivering lasting value for our shareholders, employees, customers, and the communities we serve.”

Amber White has served as Oregon Pacific Bank’s Chief Financial Officer since 2017 and brings more than 17 years of experience across commercial banking, financial strategy, and public accounting. A Certified Public Accountant, she began her career at Moss Adams, LLP, and has since become a respected industry leader through her work with the Oregon Bankers Association (OBA).  Amber currently sits on the board of directors of Community Banks of Oregon and previously served as a director for Synergy by Association, the OBA’s for-profit subsidiary, and chair of OBA’s Finance and Accounting Committee. She was also the 2024 recipient of the OBA Rise Above the Rest™ Scholarship, awarded to high potential banking leaders pursuing graduate level education through Pacific Coast Banking School. White graduated cum laude from Oregon State University.
