Amber White, President and Chief Financial Officer of Oregon Pacific Bank, has been dedicated to strengthening businesses, nonprofits, and Oregon communities since joining OPB in 2017. A collaborative and relationship focused leader, Amber combines deep financial expertise with a commitment to empowering clients and staff through clear, thoughtful guidance.

Over her tenure with OPB, Amber has taken on responsibilities that extend well beyond the traditional scope of a CFO. She held a key leadership role in guiding Bank Operations and supporting enterprise-wide process improvements and operational alignment. She has also partnered closely with the Human Resources department, contributing to personnel strategy, talent development, and cultural initiatives. This combination of financial, operational, and people-centered leadership has shaped her approach to supporting OPB’s teams, clients, and long-term vision.

Amber’s seventeen-plus year career includes experience as Vice President and Controller at two other community-focused financial institutions, as well as several years in public accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an active contributor to the banking industry through her service with the Oregon Bankers Association (OBA). Amber currently sits on the board of directors of Community Banks of Oregon and previously served as a director for Synergy by Association, the OBA’s for-profit subsidiary and chair of OBA’s Finance and Accounting Committee. She received the OBA Presidential Award in 2021 for outstanding leadership and frequently participates as a speaker in OBA Education Foundation student banker programs. She has also testified before the Oregon Legislature on behalf of the banking industry.

In 2024, Amber was awarded the highly competitive OBA Rise Above the Rest™ Scholarship, a multiyear scholarship supporting high potential leaders in the banking industry. Through this program, she is pursuing advanced graduate level banking and leadership education at Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS) in partnership with the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Amber graduated cum laude from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her children’s sports activities, and playing tennis.
