Matt Kowal joined Oregon Pacific Bank in July 2022 as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Leader at the Roseburg Branch. With 25 years of banking experience, Matt values OPB’s community focus and is passionate about helping local clients succeed.

Deeply committed to service, Matt chairs the board of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Douglas County, advocating for abused and neglected children. He also serves on the boards of the Mercy Foundation, supporting children’s outreach programs, and the Roseburg High School Foundation, which provides scholarships and classroom resources. Additionally, Matt is active with the Small Business Development Center and Umpqua Economic Development Partnership.

A devoted family man, Matt and his wife have adopted three children and enjoy hiking, river outings, and golf. He is excited to contribute to OPB’s mission of delivering exceptional banking services and building strong community connections.
