Oregon Pacific Bank has promoted Joe Carmichael to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader for its Eugene market.
Joe joined Oregon Pacific Bank in 2018 as a Commercial Relationship Manager, bringing nearly a decade of banking experience and a genuine connection to the Eugene community. Since then, he’s become a trusted partner to local businesses and a steady presence on the Bank’s lending team, known for his straightforward approach and the kind of common-sense guidance that community banking is built on.
As Team Leader, Joe will oversee commercial lending strategy for the Eugene market while mentoring the next generation of commercial lenders.
“Joe is the right person to lead this team,” said John Raleigh, EVP and Chief Lending Officer at Oregon Pacific Bank. “He’s built strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, and he has a genuine commitment to the Eugene market.”
Joe’s ties to the area go back generations, with his family calling Eugene home since his ancestors traveled the Applegate Trail. He’s served on the Board of Directors for the Eugene Family YMCA since 2013, including a 3-year term as Board President during the construction and opening of the new Y. Guided by a lifelong commitment to service, Joe continues to lend his support to organizations that help the community thrive.
“Having spent my career helping local businesses succeed, it’s an honor to lead our commercial lending team,” Joe Carmichael reflected. “Eugene has always been home to my family, and I’m passionate about supporting the people and businesses that make our community so special. I’m excited to work alongside our talented team as we continue delivering relationship-driven banking and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.”
